--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Story: This two trainers met each other at Ecruteak City while exploring the Burned Tower.
After defeating a wild Magmar, one of the floor boards gave in and Ronan fell through. He was holding from a fallen section beam when Conall walked in and helped him. As he climbed out, Ronan saw the fleeting image of a bright blue pokemon looking down through the burned ceiling. Once safe, the two trainers got acquainted and decided to visit the Bell Tower where they were informed of recent sightings of Suicune in the area. Together they decided to travel on the look not only of the legendary Suicune but of the complete Trio.
So they set out on their hunt. The Legendary Beasts proved to be more than difficult to track down but at least in their quest they got to travel the whole region, picking up stories of town folks who had seen the beasts or filling up pieces of lore about the myth of their birth. Several times they got close enough to engage in battle with no luck capturing them. Eventually their adventure took them all the way to the Hoenn region.

Inspired by a whole new land they challenged every gym they could find, making their way to the Hoenn Pokemon League. They skimmed through the rest of the competitors with relative ease. The sync and discipline with their pokemon proved to be of great advantage against their challengers. Once they reached the Final 4 things got interesting. The system put them to face each other. They have had training battles before but obviously the stakes were never as high and they always knew this battle would happen sooner or later.
The time had finally arrived for both of them to give their all and their pokemon to leave the best on the battlefield. Memories of their journey ran through their minds as they approached the Arena, fueling their hearts. At the same time their experiences together, watching each other battle countless times turned to information, calculations, and statistics figuring how to counter possible strategies the other might come up with.
In the Arena, the cold air breezed through. The challengers approached each other. Their stares locked into each others eyes, the fire of challenge and the freshness of friendship running through it. They shook hands firmly, as brothers would, and proceeded to stand in their respective places. The loudspeaker made the proper introductions and gave start to the battle.
Two pokeballs took air, on Ronan's side his Gardevoir's elegance illuminated the field; on Conall's side the ground rumbled at the force of his Swampert's pressure. The battle moved on like none had ever seen in the Hoenn Stadium. Each pokemon fought fiercely and beyond their limits, but eventually they were both down to their last pokemon. Arcanine stepped intimidatingly into the field, its muscles tensed in anticipation and his  eyes were resolute and full of fire. His trainer and him synchronized to their breath. On the other side of the field, Empoleon entered the arena, his body strained by previous rounds but his eyes, cold as ice, revealed nothing but pride and honor, weakness would not be tolerated. His mind and his trainer's working as one. This would be a short one. Each pokemon strong enough to finish the fight quickly. The opportunity for the final round would be decided in just a few turns. As each trainer gave their command, Arcanine roared in defiance and Empoleon answer the challenge as they both charged into the fight...
