Personality:  Smart, charismatic, loyal, elegant and quite lovable.
Main PKMNs: Poseidon (Empoleon) & Eliza (Gardevoir)
Background: The Gillian family gained its assets by investing in the Stock Market with the Silph Company. Ronan was raised with a comfortable life and exotic gifts (Piplup was first given to him on his 10th birthday from an uncle on a business trip). However he stayed humble thanks to his Prinplup and Ralts who kept him ground and centered. Growing up he beat the Kanto League and finished Law School with honors, before taking the job as Legal Consultant. After that, he departed overseas for more adventures. He always keeps his cellphone at hand remaining always a phone call away for the company's business.

Charles Gillian was the appointed Kanto Consul in Sinnoh. During his term there, he met Prof. Rowan who gave him Piplup as a present for Charle's nephew. On Ronan's 10th birthday, he received Piplup in an embroid pokeball. From the start he was a proud little guy. He did not flaunt around his strength but he certainly did not let anyone belittle him. He always felt deserving of the comfortable life he had with Ronan's family. He always proved to be quite smart, and upon evolving he became more diligent with his moves. Once he became an empoleon, he welcomed the decorative design Ronan had done for him and he saw it as an opportunity to gain Eliza's attention. During their journeys, Poseidon developed an emotional interest in Eliza and even if they were not 100% compatible, he would defend her with his life as he is sure she would do for him or Ronan at anytime.

-Eliza (Gardevoir):
*Shy and caring
During a summer vacation in Johto, Ronan was accompanying his family that were attending to the Pokeathlon Dome in Goldenrod City. Ronan ventured with his prinplup around Route 34, fighting rattatas and visiting the Day Care Center. Around evening on his way back to the city, he got crossed by a band of youngsters, who started rough-housing him. Priplup was defending him as best he could but the tiredness of the day was playing against him. In the vicinity was a group of Ralts on their way to their nest. A little one saw the situation from afar and decided to help. Placing herself between priplup and his attackers she protected him with a barrier that could barely hold against all of the attacks. Finally the protection failed and she received some hits but luckily a police officer patrolling the area stopped the bullying and the youngsters ran off. Ronan hurried to Goldenrod's PokeCenter to take care of the pokemon's wounds. After she had recovered, the little ralts decided to stay with Ronan and priplup and developed a deep bond with them. Later on, while working at Kalos, Ronan met the Champion Diantha at Cafe Soleil while working on some contract drafts. Diantha's gardevoir felt at peace with Eliza's calm demeanor, and after some conversation and a cappuccino, Diantha decided to give Eliza a gift, and presented her with a pretty barrette with a colorful stone to accent her blue hair. Once she placed it on Eliza's hair, Diantha gave her a wink and departed.
